Hi, my name is Noriko. Let me share a little about my journey with flowers.

I began my career in investment banking in Tokyo, where my days were busy and demanding.

Flowers became my way to find balance and joy, and what started as a small escape soon turned into a lifelong passion.

Over the course of more than ten years in Tokyo, I studied Parisian floral design under several renowned florists, immersing myself in the artistry and philosophy of the French style.

When I moved to Hawaii, I was surprised to discover that this island, too, has its own sense of seasons. Experiencing those subtle seasonal changes inspired me to embrace them more deeply, and to create joyful moments with flowers. That is how Maison Shiki was born.

For me, flowers are not just about adding beauty to everyday life—they are about creating joyful moments together. I believe flowers have the power to connect people, spark happiness, and turn simple occasions into cherished memories.

As a mother of two daughters (plus one paw-some dog), I carry this belief into both my work and daily life.
